Cherishing The Moments {MIMM}

Happy Monday! It’s back to reality for just a few days. I’m so sad to see my parents go. Living 16+ hours from them is never easy. Especially when we only see each other a few times a year. But we made the most of their visit and had a great time!

We had lots of delicious food including these tacos from Taqueria Tsunami on the Marietta Square.

We also spent a morning hiking Red Top Mountain then exploring the cute little town of Cartersville, GA.

Friday we went out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants on the square, Piastra. It’s a local Italian restaurant owned by the sweetest lady and the Chef is her son. Check out this SQUID(!) stuffed with sausage and served over risotto.

I had homemade raviolis stuffed with ricotta and peas and served with a carrot sauce.

Did I already mention I want my parents to just move next door now? My mom has had this chandelier for awhile so she brought it down for me then my dad hung it in the dining room. I’m in love with it!

After saying goodbye to them I decided to whip up another old recipe of mine, Lentil Mushroom Meatless Meatballs. These babies will be getting a face-lift this week!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
